Spinach Broccoli and Bacon Salad

Spinach, Broccoli and Bacon Salad! TOTAL PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH!

what you need!


1/2 bag spinach leaves (i brought bagged)

1 head broccoli 

few rashers or slices bacon

3/4 cup nuts (i had raw almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds)

1 red onion

1 tomato

1/4 cup (or less) balsamic dressing


OMG put it together/cooking steps!


right so i steamed my broccoli heads only until slightly cooked you defo need crunch!! then leaving to cool in cold water start to fry ya bacon! cut into small (ish) pieces in a small drizzle of olive oil, once browned chuck on a paper towel to release a little of the fat but being careful you want the juices left in the pan! once bacon is cooling using the pan you cooked bacon in you chuck ya nuts in the pan (hehe) not hubbys!.. and turn down the heat.. while the nuts are slow cooking you can chuck spinach leaves, onion, tomato and really what ever other salad stuff you want in a bowl! adding the broccoli and cooled bacon.. take nuts from pan and cool on a paper towel for a little then add to salad WARNING THEY HOLD THEIR HEAT! then gently toss through the balsamic and enjoy! this is hubbys new absolute fave!!


You can add capsicum, carrot anything really just not cheese! Mayybe a bit of feta or some strawberrys too 😀 Enjoy ladies!
