Apple and blueberry Shortcake

6 Small apples stewed (I added in a tsp of honey while cooking)

1c Blueberries (Or rhubarb, or any in-season berries)

100g softened butter

1/2c Brown sugar

1tsp cinnamon


1.5c flour

1tsp baking powder

Cinnamon sugar

Cream the butter and sugar then add the egg. When combined, add in the flour, baking powder and the cinnamon. Press 2/3 of this into a 23cm greased tin. Top with the stewed apple and blueberries then pinch of pieces o the remaining dough and plop on top. Sprinkle over the cinnamon sugar and bake for 30-40mins at 180° or until golden
